Terms
Terms of Service
Updated July 20, 2026. These terms cover your use of RIPE and your subscription.
Who we are
RIPE is a software service operated by Lillian Field, an individual based in North Carolina, United States, trading as RIPE (referred to here as RIPE, we, or us). These terms are an agreement between you and Lillian Field. You can reach us at hellolillyfield@gmail.com. Payments and the sale itself are handled by our Merchant of Record, Paddle, as described below.
What RIPE does
RIPE is a sales-prospecting software tool. It finds companies that show a signal they may be ready to buy, it looks for a relevant buyer and their work email address, and it drafts outreach emails that you can review, edit, and send. RIPE is a tool that supports your outreach. You decide who to contact and what to send, and you are the one who sends it. We do not promise replies, meetings, sales, or any business result.
Eligibility and accounts
RIPE is meant for business use by people who are at least 18 years old and acting on behalf of a business. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for the activity that happens under your account. Please tell us promptly if you think someone has used your account without permission.
Payments and Paddle as Merchant of Record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all of our orders. Paddle handles billing, payment, and any sales tax, provides customer service for orders, and handles returns. This means Paddle, not RIPE, is the seller of record for your purchase, and Paddle appears as the merchant on your card or bank statement, usually shown as Paddle.net. Your purchase is also covered by the Buyer Terms and the Refund Policy published by Paddle, in addition to these terms.
Subscriptions and automatic renewal
RIPE is sold as a monthly subscription. When you subscribe, you agree that your subscription renews automatically each month and that Paddle will charge your payment method the current monthly fee at the start of each new billing period, until you cancel. The price, the monthly billing frequency, and how to cancel are shown to you at checkout, and you give your consent to these renewal terms at that time. You can cancel at any time, and we will not charge you a renewal after you cancel.
Price changes
We may change subscription prices. If we do, the new price applies to your next renewal after we give you reasonable advance notice by email or in the product. If you do not want to pay the new price, you can cancel before your next renewal.
Refunds
All subscription fees are non-refundable, including for partly used billing periods, except where a refund is required by law or under the First-Month Accuracy Guarantee. Canceling stops future renewals. It does not refund the period you are already in. Please see our Refund Policy for the full details.
Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time using the manage-subscription link in your Paddle receipt, or by emailing us at hellolillyfield@gmail.com. When you cancel, your subscription stops renewing and you keep access until the end of the billing period you have already paid for. After that, access ends and you are not billed again.
Acceptable use
You agree to use RIPE only for lawful business outreach. You agree not to use it to send spam or unlawful, deceptive, harassing, or misleading messages, to contact people who have asked you not to hear from you, to scrape or resell our data in bulk, or in any way that breaks the law or these terms. We may suspend or end your access if you do.
Your outreach is your responsibility
RIPE helps you find contacts and draft messages, but you are the sender of every message you send, and you are responsible for that outreach. You are responsible for following the laws that apply to your messages and to your handling of contact data. Depending on where the people you contact are located, this can include the United States CAN-SPAM Act, Canada Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), and the GDPR and ePrivacy rules in the EU, EEA, and United Kingdom. Among other things, this means having a lawful basis to contact and process personal data, identifying yourself honestly, including a valid postal address and a working way to opt out where the law requires it, and honoring opt-out and deletion requests promptly. For the messages you send, you act as the data controller, not RIPE.
No warranty, including on data accuracy
RIPE is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. The signals, company data, and email addresses that RIPE provides are gathered and generated by automated means and may be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. We do not warrant that any email address is valid or deliverable, that any signal is accurate, or that any draft message is right for your use. Except for the First-Month Accuracy Guarantee in our Refund Policy, we disclaim all warranties to the fullest extent the law allows.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RIPE and Lillian Field will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost business, or harm to reputation, that arise from your use of RIPE or from any message you send. Our total liability for any claim relating to RIPE will not be more than the amount you paid us in the three months before the event that gave rise to the claim.
Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify RIPE and Lillian Field against any claim, loss, or expense that arises from your use of RIPE, the messages you send, your handling of contact data, or your breach of these terms or of any law.
Intellectual property
RIPE, its software, and its content belong to us. While your subscription is active, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use RIPE for your own business outreach. You may use the outputs that RIPE generates for you, such as draft emails and contact lists, for your own outreach. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute the RIPE software or the data behind it.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If we make a material change, we will give reasonable notice by email or in the product. If you keep using RIPE after a change takes effect, that means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. RIPE is a digital service that people can use in many countries. Where the law that applies to you gives you rights that cannot be waived by agreement, those rights still apply to you.
